Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Letzpadel ("the service"), a community platform that lets padel players in Luxembourg post open matches and join matches posted by others. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Letzpadel

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile, including your display name and self-declared padel level.

2. Your account

• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

3. Posting and joining matches

Letzpadel is a coordination tool. Court bookings, payments to the court, equipment, and physical safety are entirely between you, the other players, and the court operator. We are not a party to your match and do not verify identities, skill levels, or attendance.

• If you post a match, you're expected to show up or cancel in time.
• If you join a match, you're expected to arrive on time or leave the match in advance so someone else can take your spot.
• Repeated no-shows or abusive behaviour may result in your account being suspended.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players.
• Post spam, promotional content, or messages unrelated to your match.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your skill level to gain access to matches.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.
• Use the service to organise anything illegal.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post (match notes, chat messages, profile picture). By posting it, you grant Letzpadel a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service.

6. Fees

Using Letzpadel is currently free. Court fees, equipment, and any payments between players are settled outside the platform.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running smoothly but can't guarantee it will always be available or bug-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give notice for significant changes.

8. Liability

Padel is a physical sport played at your own risk. Letzpadel is not responsible for injuries, disputes between players, no-shows, missed bookings, or losses arising from your use of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that harm other players or the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Luxembourg, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email. Continued use of Letzpadel after an update means you accept the new terms.
